Cafeteria
When should I choose this approach?
This is the right direction when
- You are deciding cafeteria and want to see how other workplaces resolved it before committing to a layout.
- You need to agree a direction with colleagues, and images move that conversation faster than descriptions.
- You want to understand what drives cost here before a budget conversation.
Worth reconsidering when
- Your floor plate or services are not yet fixed — layout choices here may change with them.
- You are still deciding how the team will work; that decision should come first.
Worth knowing before you decide
Designing only for lunch, leaving a large room empty for most of the day.
