Studio by Habitat (“Studio”, “we”, “our”) is operated by Habitat, headquartered in Delhi, India. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use studio.habitatdelhi.com and related Habitat ecosystem services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, organization, and role you provide when registering or signing in (including via Google).
- Project information — drawings, documents, briefs, photos, comments, and other content you upload to your client workspace.
- Usage data — pages viewed, features used, device, browser, IP address, and approximate location, collected through standard server and analytics logs.
- Communications — messages you send us through forms, email, or in-app chat.
2. How we use information
- To create and operate your workspace and deliver requested services.
- To authenticate you, secure your account, and prevent abuse.
- To send project, administrative, and support communications.
- To improve our tools, content, and the overall product experience.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Sign-in with Google
When you choose “Sign in with Google”, Google shares with us your name, email address, language preference, and profile picture, in accordance with the permissions you approve. We use this information only to create your account and identify you within Studio. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or other Google services.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who host, secure, and operate the platform (e.g. cloud infrastructure, authentication, email delivery, analytics), bound by confidentiality and data-protection terms.
- Project collaborators you explicitly invite to your workspace.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Habitat, our users, or the public.
5. Data retention
We retain account and project data for as long as your workspace is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You may request deletion at any time (see Your Rights below).
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, role-based permissions, and row-level security in our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; withdraw consent; or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
8. Children
Studio is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the platform or by email. The “Last updated” date above indicates when this version took effect.
